Initial release: November 14, 1997 Amiga Forever is an emulator, frontend and media package created by Cloanto. It uses it's own proprietery coding for the frontend, but utilized free and open source emulators like WinFellow and WinUAE for the emulation backend. The software packages offer not only the emulator and front-end, but a range of software from Official Amiga Roms, Operating Systems and licensed Games. Additionally, dependant on the package, they also provide historical footage in ditial or physical format. Amiga Forever supports all the standard Amiga disk formats, along with their own proprietary RP9 format. Games can be easily installed and managed in the front-end, including information about the game, a rating system and a screenshot. The frontend also supports snapshots of a game from quick resume at a later time.
